เคล็ดไม่ลับการต้มเส้นพาสต้าให้อร่อย

เส้นกับซอส เลือกให้ถูกเพื่อความอร่อย

รูปทรงขนาดเล็ก เหมาะกับซอสที่มีความเบา และใส เช่น เส้นสปาเก็ตตี้

รูปทรงขนาดใหญ่ เหมาะกับซอสที่มีความข้น เนื้อสัมผัสหนา เช่น ซอสที่มีส่วนผสมของมะเขือเทศ หรือเนื้อสัตว์ที่เป็นชิ้นๆ

เคล็ดไม่ลับการต้มเส้นพาสต้าให้อร่อย

ควรใช้ภาชนะที่มีหน้ากว้างพอดีกับเส้นเพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้เส้นพาสต้าหัก ไม่สวยงาม

ควรใส่เส้นลงต้มแบบหมุนมือเพื่อไม่ให้เส้นจับกันเป็นก้อน

ควรใส่เกลือในขณะต้มเล็กน้อยเพื่อเพิ่มรสชาติความเค็มอ่อน ๆ ให้กับเส้น และช่วยเพิ่มอุณหภูมิในขณะต้ม

ควรใส่น้ำมันพืชในขณะต้มเล็กน้อย เพื่อป้องกันการเกิดฟองที่มาจากแป้งในระหว่างต้มล้นออกมาจากหม้อ และช่วยเคลือบเส้นไม่ให้ติดกัน

คำนวณเวลาในการต้มตามฉลากของผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อให้ได้เส้นพาสต้าที่อร่อย ไม่แข็ง และไม่เละจนเกินไป

ใช้ที่หนีบคอยดึงเส้นเบา ๆ เพื่อไม่ให้เส้นติดกัน หมั่นคนเพื่อไม่ให้เส้นติดหม้อ และเพื่อให้ความร้อนกระจายทั่วเส้นทำให้เส้นพาสต้าสุกทั่ว

หากน้ำที่ใช้ต้มเส้นพร่องลง ควรเปลี่ยนน้ำทิ้งแล้วใส่ใหม่ ไม่ควรเติม

นำเส้นพาสต้าที่ต้มจนสุกแล้วไปผ่านน้ำเย็นทันทีเพื่อหยุดการสุก จะทำให้ได้เส้นพาสต้าที่เหนียวนุ่ม และอร่อยยิ่งขึ้น

เมื่อต้มเสร็จ และเอาน้ำร้อนออกแล้วไม่ควรพักทิ้งไว้นาน ควรนำไปประกอบอาหารทันทีเพื่อให้ตัวซอสที่นำมาปรุงนั้นเกาะกับตัวเส้นให้ได้มากที่สุด

Phu Phra Bat historical park : ภูพระบาท

Hor Nong Usa rock in Phu Phra Bat

Phu Phra Bat historical park in Udon Thani province in the North East of Thailand is a forested hill with natural rock formations shaped as caves with large rocky overhangs. The caves were used by ancient man as shelter and as temples where Buddha images were enshrined.

What makes this site unique, is that it contains traces of several different civilizations and cultures spanning thousands of years. The hill contains traces of prehistoric man, the Dvaravati period and Khmer presence.

The sandstone rock on top of the hill has been cut out during many centuries by glacier movement, wind and rain. Some of the rock formations provide natural shelter, others were carved into by man thousands of years ago creating cave like structures. Many of the rock formations harbour ancient Buddha images and served as ancient wats (Buddhist temples).

Prehistoric rock paintings

Thousands of years ago, prehistoric man wandered around in this area. They left behind rock paintings made in red color depicting various animals and people. As the sandstone is fairly easy to carve, rooms were cut out some of the rocks to create shelters.

During the early days of Buddhism, the rock formations were used by travelling monks, providing them with shelter. A number of very old Buddha images placed in the caves shows the caves were used as ancient temples.

Loy Krathong : ประเพณีลอยกระทง

Phakapan : Loy Kratong Festival

The history of Loy Krathong is rather obscure. Some believe that Krathong was first created by Tao Sri Chulalak . Others overlook its origin yet focus on the purposes of the ritual: to pay respect to the Goddess of the Water showing their gratitude on their plentiful use of water and ask for forgiveness in the ensuing pollution. Floating the beautiful Krathong away, which is the key activity in Loy Krathong, also refers to flying away misfortune and bad things in the past and asking for good luck in the future. Although it is not a national holiday, many activities other than floating Krathong, are conducted in this festival, such as, contests of Krathong-making and Noppamas beauty pageants, local games and performances.

In Thailand, people enjoy creating their own Krathong made from natural resources, such as leaves and trunks of banana adorned with flowers. Some might use bread instead of synthetic materials showing their concern for environment. Other than flowers, a candle and incense sticks, we often put some coins or betel pepper and nut in our Krathongs. And that’s why our Krathongs can’t drift any further as they are raided for little money. Nevertheless, Loy Krathong Festival remains the most romantic and favorite occasion for a number of people and still best represents our gratitude.

Yung Thong Waterfall : น้ำตกยูงทอง

Na Yung Nam Som Forest Park

Yung Thong Waterfall located at Ban Sawang, Mu 2, Tambon Na Yoong, King-Amphoe Na Yung is a waterfall on the ridge of Phu Phan and Phu Ya Ou, where a stream flows through the steep rock cliff. Yung Thong Waterfall is three metres high and composed of water beautifully cascading amongst the stones, especially during the rainy season when it thunders down in torrents among the lush, green flora. Located 103 kilometers from Amphoe Muang, the route to the waterfall passes through Amphoe Ban Phue and Amphoe Nam Som. Upon reaching Amphoe Nam Som, there is a junction from Nam Suem Village, proceed on that route for seventeen kilometers in order to reach the junction that leads to the Reserve Park. The route is part of the project of the Office of Accelerated Rural Development, aimed at speeding up the development in the rural area which is in good condition and can be used all the year round.

Yung Thong Waterfall is 103 kilometers from the province. Located in Na Yung Nam Som National Park, it is a three-layer waterfall surrounded by number of trees and valleys.
